Hello All,

I am visiting TO with my 5 1/2 yr old tomorrow Wednesday. We should have the whole day, and am wondering what activities might interest a 5 yr old. I am leaning towards the Ontario Science Centre, and the ROM. Are there any other sites, I should consider, and is one or the other a better option?

The science centre offers something called KidSpark. The workshop I was interested in( Science on the Go ), isn't offered tomorrow.
I am looking for any and all opinions.

Thanks,
pogs

kids park is ok.
there isn't much to do, actually, but kids seem to like the supermarket set up.
static electric show is a must-see. kids love that.
the omnimax movies are a bit of a bore. it really loses steam after the first 20 min. the most watchable for a child is the under the sea.

Out of the two I would pick the Science Centre and my son is the same age.

We have a yearly pass so we don't feel we have to be there all day. During the week now it should be quiet, might be some school groups though. I would not spend the whole time in kidspark though, have a look around at the other things (even though they are for older kids my son shows interest).

I would pick the AGO over the ROM as well. Seems to be more hands on things to do there.
