whats the best / cheapest way to get to Orlando florida... Would be on a Friday - Friday.
I looked at a few flights leavine from Platsburgh but there all Thursday-Thursday, Which really doesnt work out for us?

You can fly Allegiant on those dates into St. Petersburgh/Clearwater and drive over to Orlando.

Direct Air flies from Platsburgh into Lakeland/Orlando airport - and it's a direct flight like the name mentions. But I'm sure you'll be limited on dates as they probably don't fly the route every day of the week.
