Anyone know a good place to print cards for a birth announcement?

I've seen a few places like shutterfly but I"d like to design the look of it myself so wasn't sure if anyone know of a place to make custom cards or postcards. Suggestions?

We used Tiny Prints.. they have 1000's of templates that are really easy to use, they're awesome.

Sign up to they're FB page or via Twitter, they send out coupons all the time.

Staples? They do Christmas cards so I'm guessing they do different types of cards. And they have tons of printing options

I'm not sure about just printing - but I'd check Staples.

If you are looking for something quick and easy - search birth announcements on ebay. I got my son's birth announcement and all of their birthday invitations from there.

There are so many people offering their services and it's quite affordable. Generally pay between $15-20 for a template - you win the auction, and you submit all the info including photos and they send you a final copy. It's generally a 4X6 or 5X7 digital copy that they send you.

I send it to Costco and print it off as a photo - I usually do Matte as I think it looks more like a card than a photo.

We always get tonnes of compliments on the birth announcement/invitations!!

We designed our own too and I just printed them at home on cardstock; you could always just take your file to kinkos or something as well.

Costco

+1

Costco have templates that you can use.
However, I have some basic photo editing skills, so using GIMP (free software similar to Photoshop), I put together my own announcement using ideas from commercial announcements. Then I simply printed them as matte photos from Costco.
