The Promotion:
Individuals who purchase a Cineplex gift card at a Cineplex Entertainment theatre or online at Cineplex.com (excluding Quebec) with a value of $30.00 or more during the Promotion Period will receive a randomly generated unique PIN code which will allow them to select a free gift when they enter the PIN code at cineplex.com/holidaygift. Once the PIN code has been entered, articipants will be instructed to select one of 8 (eight) mystery boxes to reveal their free gift. In order to receive your Free Gift, you must provide us with a valid email address at the time the PIN code is entered online to receive details on how to redeem your Free Gift. Unclaimed gifts will not be awarded. Approximately 250,000 PIN Codes are available on the outset of the Promotion and are available until the earlier of either January 10, 2012 or while supplies last (the “Promotion Period”). PIN codes must be redeemed on or before January 25, 2012. There are 8 (eight) free gifts available, ranging from $1.98 to $10.00 and will be randomly issued at the time the PIN is redeemed.
The above Promotion is not available on the purchase of gift cards through Cineplex Group Sales department or to purchases made by businesses, companies, organizations or groups; purchases of gift cards at third party retailers or the purchase of dinner and a movie gift card offerings.

There's some ambiguity regards Quebec residents. They can definitely enter the contest, but not sure what they mean by "Individuals who purchase a Cineplex gift card at a Cineplex Entertainment theatre or online at Cineplex.com (excluding Quebec)"
