I thought it might be fun to have a couple RFD servers for SW:TOR for those people who have no server preference at the moment.
I created an alt on Corellian Run; PVE East Coast.

Watched a couple of videos on youtube about this game and without commenting the content i can testify how graphics and texture are looking like an hybrid between a ps2 and a wii.
This game looks like a 2006-2007 game.

Because MMO's are usually the latest benchmark for graphic progression.. game looks decent and I can't even run it on high anyways lol.
Anyways I'll be signing up on Fatman as that seems to be where PVP'rs are going.

Graphics are perfectly fine for an MMO and the cutscenes are unsurpassed. The sound effects are also very good. Most importantly, the story is well written, so I know I'm going to get my money's worth on the initial retail box. Remains to be seen whether Bioware can keep the momentum going over multiple years like Blizzard.
Fatman for PvP sounds good to me - I'll see you there if I ever decide to roll PvP again. Got somewhat tired of the ganking in WoW so PvE for now.

You kidding right ?
Look how crappy it is:
-Proportions are not right (light sabers way too big, head too small etc etc)
-Skins/ textures are horrible
-look at her feet... it looks like a N64 game

Not because its an mmo that it has to look like poop.
Was pretty excited when i heard about this game (played star wars: knights of the old republic on Xbox a lot) and when i saw videos on the internet i was pretty disappointed.
No way im paying 80 bucks for this crap not matter how good the story is.... This would have potential.. on PS2.

I'm sure the game will miss you. Go enjoy BF3 or Crysis if your willing to disregard a game just because graphics aren't top notch.
Just out of curiosity, have you played a MMO before (beyond a free trial) ?

Played Diablo 2 9 years.
Now waiting for what looks like World Of Diablo. I mean Diablo 3.
And yes i do play BF3.
Also diablo 3 graphics are pretty acceptable even if its an mmorpg....
Imho this star wars game graphics are totally unacceptable.

Diablo's technically an Action RPG, its not an MMORPG, though what counts as an MMORPG nowadays, P2P fees? Or un-soloable content?

SW:TOR looks bad compared to D3?
Serious dawg? You seen how cartoony D3 looks? You are a complete ******. For a MMORPG, TOR is amazing in terms of graphics.
Anyways, the Story is the main draw of the game.

Yeah I loved the story when I played on a weekend beta, the story actually feels relevant to the overall direction of the game.
I pre-ordered last week hopefully I get in on Friday that would be sweet, although it's a long shot. I'm still deciding between a Sith Inquis or Bounty Hunter :(

It's also worth noting that the screenshot given is like 2-3 years old. The game looks MUCH better now.

I agree, I was a bit worried about the graphics too when I played the beta etc.. but right now in the early game access I am at lvl 23 and so far the graphics have been close to that of Rift
