When shopping at my local natural health food store, i noticed that most health supplements
are stored at room temperature.. those products are in a sealed and unopened package.
My guess is once the seal is broken, the products get into contact with oxygen and humidity
and need to be refrigirated to keep from spoiling.
My question is, will health supplements such as green powders, pills and the like stay fresh
at room temperature when sealed? Most of these products carry a 2+ year shelf life..
A short google search seems to suggest they can be stored at room temp but will have a shorter lifespan?
Reason i'm asking is, i have a package containing natural health supplements which was shipped from the states
and is stuck at DHL for 5 weeks now, and im concerned about my products getting spoiled..
Thanks.
