I don't really know squat about cars but is this a good price for a remote starter?


Compustar 1WAMS system for $264.98 installed plus taxes. It includes 2 remotes, 2500 feet of range, will control your keyless and trunk release and also give you panic. It would take us 2.5 hours to install and the pricing comes with the required bypass module that the 2008 Elantra requires.

Have you seen the Auto-Links Group Buy thread on remote starters on here ? I believe the model you're wanting installed on your Elantra is one of the Compustar models listed as part of the group buy. If it is, even with taxes, it would still be cheaper than what you were quoted above.
