Nice, I've been eyeing BST for this, but wasn't too sure if I wanted to pay $30+ for a game that I rarely play. My cockpit setups there and I have GT5 and the first Shift, I need something else to entice me to set up everything (which is a hassle by itself).

I almost feel like going back to the XB360, as online stock is so plentiful and demand seems to be lower. When FS had their clearance, both the online and retail PS3 stock ws gone almost immediately. I was in store bin-diving with 3-4 other people, and everyone was looking for PS3. It was the same during the WM $1 clearance, the RCSS 50% bin games sale, Staples clearance, etc. XB360 games as far as the eye could see, but PS3's all went fast.

If I was still an XB360 gamer, I would literally have every title from 2009-mid-2011.

Thanks to the OP. I had bought a new 360 version for full price as it was on a nephew's Christmas wish list. Went to BB to PM, the CSR looked up the game and said it was listed at $29. She called me over to see for myself and I noticed she was on ebgames.com, she had looked up the site from google which gave her that as the default. When she checked ebgames.ca it came up at $9.99. I noticed they listed the PC one as limited edition on the site but the PS3/360 versions were just regular and BB only sells the Limited Editions (not really limited, just some bonus stuff) and I thought she might try to reject it for that reason but she probably didn't notice or was too busy to look into it further. Successfully PM'd one for 360 for my nephew and one for PS3 for myself for $7.99 each.

Bleh, paid $15 for this a few weeks back and I haven't even taken it out of the plastic yet.

Still, heard good things about it, for this price it's probably one of the best car games to get. Not quite the community of GT5/Forza but easy to sit down and drive.

Picked this up and Bulletstorm.. Both are limited edition.. They had a whole display of the Games that we're on sale.. These two we're the ones that caught my eye in store even before I saw the thread.

Decided against PM as I was already in EBGames today while going Christmas shopping.. Not worth it to save $4 get it wherever it saves you the most time IMO, you can always make more money but your time on this Earth is finite.

My only complaint about the game it's terribly unforgiving. One mistake in a race and you'll be spinning out off the track pretty quickly. I personally liked this more than GT5 as there's a greater sense of speed I find with this game vs. GT5.

Vs. Hot pursuit... it's comparing two different genres. Hot Pursuit is arcade style. This is suppose to be a sim (though GT5 is far more of a sim than this).

I hate to say it but the game is terrible. Even @ 10 it looks like a deal.
Let me break it down for you -

1. GRAPHICS are worst than Need for Speed Shift - Can you believe that?

2. Handling is same as Shift - Terrible. You will need to tune every single car.

I say stick with Shift 1 or get Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. One of the BEST Racing games of this gen.

Fair comparison. I almost got it from Origin sales (40% off) last week and now even much cheaper after PM at BB. For any NFS fans, it is no brainer to keep a copy in their collections at this price. I clicked thanks to OP.

FS uses every opportunity they can find to deny PMs. I've had some really bad experiences in the past. One time I got denied when trying to PM BB because they couldn't get a hold of someone when they called one of the stores :facepalm:

Good luck finding one of those, there haven't been any around for ages, just the play and charge kits. Guess $14.99 for a rechargeable battery wasn't enough for MS so they had to throw in a cable and double the price.

Bought 1 and my friend bought 1 as well at Heartland EB games. Both were PS3 Limited Editions.

Heartland FS is sold out of them, so PM there. BB Heartland has 10+ available for PS3, but I was denied a PM because it wasn't showing "Limited Edition" on the EB site. :facepalm:

Some are ok, but most are not. I guess it could depend on location too.

Based on my personal experience any EB store North of Steeles has generally polite and helpful ones, while South of Steeles not so much :lol:
