Looking for a mens haircut place that will do it for under $10 before taxes

I'm located in Scarborough, Morningside & Kingston, so anything near me by about 10KM radius is fine

I used to go to a place at Old Kennedy & Steeles but unfortunately the wonderful Viet lady got evicted

Please NO Canadiana $5 places I'm well aware of those

Hair King

Don Mills Road & Van Horne (Peanut Plaza). Not too far from you I think. I know they have another location about 2km or so inside Scar/North York border. They are quick and do seem to do a good job. My only other experience is with Magic Cut which seems like 4 people in the shop with 10 hair cutting chairs and they take longer and charge more. IIRC ~$15-16/cut before tip.

$8 taxes in. Never did ask if tips was included. They do seem to listen to you and try to do what you ask say if you want some gel on the top after the cut or if you have a concern.

Hope that helps. If there is a $5 place PLEASE HELP OUT RFD and tell me/others.

There is another place off Phamacy Ave which I can't remember. It was inside a mini plaza with IIRC cion laundry. I think Phamacy & Sheppard. One of the young guys there listens and does a good job. Forgot the reg price as I used a one time special flyer and I think I got the cut for $5. It's got to be around the Pham & Shep area either a little on the north or south on Pharmacy. I do remember passing a park or school with a lot of grassaround.

Thanks for the tips. I've found 2 other Hair King places like you mentioned

Hair King (Warden & Finch) - $8
3245 Finch Ave E
(416) 502-2788

Hair King (McCowan & Finch) - $8
1571 Sandhurst Cir
(416) 609-9828

Here are the 2 $5 haircut places, but I personally don't like the experience there. You have a long wait, too much noise going on, and just too many people in such a small location.

Canadiana Hair Fashions - $5
5650 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1B 5P6
(416) 298-9435 ‎

Canadiana Hair Fashions - $5
844 Markham Rd, Scarborough, ON M1H 2Y2
(416) 438-0771

There's a little shop on Kingston rd. near cliffside that is $9.

Its just east of the kingston rd, Danforth rd merge. It's in the same plaza as Heavy Duty cycles

Marca College is a place where student hairstylists cut your hair. A wash and cut is $9.

I've been there a few times and I've always gotten a very good cut. The students are working under the direction of a teacher, but have finished most of their courses and just need practical experience to graduate. Generally they aim to please and are friendly and do a good job.

I don't work for Hair King but I'd like to add to my comment before.

I normally go in when I have about 2" long growth of hair. IIRC (I timed it once before) they take about 15mins to finish the hair cut to a #1 & #2 guard hair cut. With that said A trim or touch up I would suspect would take about 6-8mins tops.

My experiene is only at the Peanut Plaza location which when you show up I did not have to wait more then 10mins. For guys that is quick. If you have longer hair or need other hair treatments well that would take longer and I've no experience with that. Hope that helps.

I wished hair cutting places would have something like a loyalty card setup or membership where you pay a small amount and for trims be charged $5 for a quick trim. I mean for trims it does not take long unlike a full haircut IMHO so for those that pay full price for a trim IMHO the hair cutting place is making a lot of money on that.

That's why I like growing out the hair then getting the hair cut so it is more worth the amount paid.
