This always stumps me.

If serving plain steamed/boiled lobster with drawn butter, what sides do you like?

If we serve lobster rolls, the sides are easy, just lightly salted potato chips and bread and butter pickles!!!

bread and maybe a salad

Really, when we have lobster, the rest is irrelevant.

Lol!! That's what I always think, too.

But I don't know if my guests have the same point of view. Bread and a salad are perfect.

I don't like lobster so I would be wanting a side dish for sure.

We always have more seafood - shrimp, mussels, crab cakes, oysters anything from the ocean....

I like to have caesar salad with my home made dressing and croutons. Oh, and steak ;)

My other answer is more lobster....

When we have lobster, we are eating one or two lobsters (1.5 - 2 lbs each)....it is sheer gluttony. My sides are drawn butter and wine.

Just like when I have a good steak. Bone in ribsteak, no sides. Beer or wine.

Cheap steak and I'll make sides.
