On Saturday I was at the Bay location in Scarbough town centere.Just a week ago I went and got a pair of converse in the kids department for $17.99 and a extra 40% off. This week I went back and there was still a sign on the table for 40% off so I got the same pair in a diffrent size. I went to pay for the shoes. There was a sticker on the bottom of the shoe with the price, but she looked at the price, started reading the brand for some random reason then walked to the shoe department thinking that I put the 17.99 sticker on there! She came back with a box and then scanned it. The total came up to 17.99 plus tax. So I told her that it had a extra 40% off. She very rudely then said to me "Its not for the converse." Me being mistaken many times before had read the sign clearly and it had no exeptions and the table was full of about 20 pairs on converse. When I told her that she stated glaring at me then walked to get a sign. She came back with a sign that read 30% off regular price shoes excluding converse. I then told her that was the wrong sign, and she told me the other sign didnt say anything so she took this one! If the sign doesnt say anything that means that its in the sale! Other then that she was super slow and there were about 5 people in front of me in line and they all had had bad experince with her and walked away. $17.99 is not bad for a pair of Converse but after the bad service I just walked away. This was the worst service that i ever recived and trust me i have had very bad service.

OP's been a longer member here then you! :).

As for the OP, Don't shop there If you don't like It but you can base It off one bad experience.

bonnie.brooks@hbc.com would be a more effective place for that, you will get a response

The bay has always been like that (maybe not as bad as zellers) with massive number of cosntantly changing % off promos and old signs being left

You should write to Lord and Taylor which is Bay's parent comany.
