I need a new set of cookware, and I am considering Paderno. Here are the deals I have been able to find:

Eternity Amazon.ca $140.00
Fusion 5 8pc Amazon.ca $167.18
Artistry Amazon.ca $189.40
Prima Amazon.ca $178.41
Maritimer Paderno.com $149.99

There were some Costco deals on, but they seem to be gone. I'd love the Copperline series, but can't find them on sale. Which set would you go with? Or should I avoid Paderno and go with something induction-compatible for future-proofing?

Paderno's undoubtedly a safe bet. As far as "future proofing", I wouldn't bet on induction replacing gas (or electric) any time soon (like your lifetime). Btw, what makes the Paderno's induction unfriendly?

For induction, there has to be some steel or iron in the base plate, so it's likely that Paderno has not upgraded this set for induction. Some of their pots seem to have a thin bottom plate compared to others such as Lagostina or Kirkland.

I used two induction burners and a convection oven in a cottage setting last year, and they worked well, but I found that I had to buy stainless steel pots and pans at Winners, with an induction symbol on the baseplate. BTW induction burners will scorch some foods, such as rice, even on the lowest setting if not watched carefully.
I prefer gas.

Not sure, I read in another thread that Paderno does not have any sets that work well with induction burners, but they are releasing some in the spring.
