I think people are confusing best deal poster with most helpful user. Sure, a deal poster helped you save money, but I think this is more geared towards providing you information. Eg. CSK'sMom helps out more than she should in the OSAP thread, Neksus organizes the BBV/EB/FS/etc TIV website, etc. These people help outside of deals by providing help and knowledge.
