Pitch Black was all sorts of awesomeness. Chronicles was lightweight fun, and had as virtues over the top everything, plus some eye candy, and was a full 2 hours of entertainment rather then your normal 88 minutes, so a semblance of money's worth.

Vin should have continued with this franchise without letup, IMO. To me, this was the character he was born to be be typecast in....

Yeah, Vin Diesel seemed to have dropped off the radar for awhile. Will be cool to see another Riddick movie.

Dude got chubby there for a bit. Look at him compared to The Rock in Fast Five, he looked like he didn't do any preparation for the movie at all.

Y'know what, for what his role is Vin Diesel owns the part. He doesn't say much which plays to his acting talents perfectly.

I'm looking forward to this. I really liked Pitch Black and Riddick.

I think Riddick is a very underrated character, but yeah, I can't see anyone else play him but Vin Diesel.

I was on the edge of my seat when I watched Pitch Black in high school, and enjoyed Chronicles of Riddick as well so I'm looking forward to this one!

I am guessing the Necromongers somehow betray him or overthrow him......I read somewhere that Vakko is in this movie too (Karl Urban)...
