Switched my dog from Acana to the Medi-cal brand to eliminate a suspect cause to lick granuloma. My dog's leg has healed since, but we (vet)never determined the actual cause.
Turns out my dog likes the Medi-cal food, and it is easier for him to digest as my dog had trouble chewing the Acana food(pellets too hard?)he's part shiz-tsu,and has quite an underbite, hindering his bite a little.
Anyhow I'm looking for an alternative to the Medi-cal Hypoallergenic that is similar but from a reputable pet food maker that uses safer quality ingrediants.Thanks.
