Tappo Wine Bar and Restaurant – Downtown Toronto
C$55 for Three-Course Italian Meal for Two (Up to $130 Value) (http://www.groupon.com/deals/tappo-wine-bar-and-restaurant)
One à la carte antipasti (up to an $18 value)
One à la carte primi piatti (up to a $32 value)
Two à la carte secondi piatti (up to a $40 value each)
First of all, can you really call it a "Three-Course" meal for two, when the first two courses are effectively half-courses because you have to share them???
Secondly, it may be a theoretical $130 value, but only if you optimize by choosing the $18 antipasti, $32 primi piatti, and 2x the $40 secondi piatti. But that may not always be feasible (for example, the $32 primi contains shellfish). If for some reason you wound up ordering the cheapest item off each of the antipasti, primi, and secondi menus (http://tappo.ca/november/menus_antipasti.html), that's only respectively $10 + $17 + ($28 x 2) = $83.
