Hi,

I am looking to reduce my cable package, but I am finding it really difficult to find an actual list of what channels are in what packages.

Anyone know of a site that breaks down what channels are in the basic cable, cable plus original, cable plus select, cable plus combo, MeTV package, Ultimate TV pak, Extended Basic, Digital Plus, etc.

Thanks.

I'm sure the web site that the Rogers employee gave you when you phoned in would be quite useful. I'd suggest you go to that site before any others which may be out of date.

I have not spoken to Rogers. Is their a different website than rogers.com? The Rogers website only shows higher end packages like Digital VIP and even then the actual channel listings for each package is quite vague.

I rec'd a letter in the mail today about price increases and it had all the channel packages that I listed on the sheet, but not channel listing details.

Well here's a silly question, then...why not pick up the phone and call them to ask your question, rather than asking random strangers for an answer and waiting for a potentially inaccurate answer? That's exactly what I did this afternoon when I wanted to know what sort of retention deal my phone & internet provider could give me. I got my answer in just a few minutes...and signed up for more stuff at less cost, to boot! I'm thinking the Rogers staff would be able to equally inform you.

Of course, if you don't have a phone, Rogers offers phone service too, I believe.

Good luck.

I hear ya, but based on previous calls to Rogers and viewing their website, I realize they don't like to give any detailed information about any of their channel packages, so I would like to actually have some basic knowledge about what each package contains before I call.

If I know TSN is one of the channels that I want, I'd like to know whether it offered with the cable plus original or cable plus select for example.

The Rogers site is actually pretty bad at listing channels for packages not advertised on the site. Also calling Rogers sometimes doesn't yield very good results as the reps may just go off the site as well.

I remember a while ago there used to be a pdf outlining all the channel lineups. Remember though that different regions have different packages which in turn have different channels lineups.

I did some research on this yesterday when reading OP's post and apparently, there is no such thing as a chart with the numbers and names of stations with columns for packages with checkmarks or color coded. All there is that's available is a list of all channels available in a region, with the channel numbers. You can find it here in the bottom right corner box. Select the kind of receiver box you have and your region/city.

There are other people looking for clear package channel lists too, and it seems there's nothing available:
