shih tzu breeders in Ontario

im looking for a reputable shih tzu breeder in Ontario. somewhere within a 2-3hr drive of Toronto would be nice.

i contacted one breeder and she's asking for $900. is that a normal price for a shih tzu puppy?

Hi, when your are buying a puppy from a reputable breeder expect to pay between 700-1000 for a Shih Tzu. Although expensive at first you will have a piece of mind knowing you bought your puppy from a breeder who provided the best care for the puppy. They will also provide lots of help after.

If you are already worried about the cost of the dog, then a purebred dog may not be for you. $900 seems resonable for a pure bred dog from a good breeder.

Hey!

I'm kinda new to the whole RFD Forums but I see you are looking for a breeder that specifically breeds Shih Tzu's! We actually got our Shih Tzu from a lady named Kelly and she is a great breeder! She currently has a new litter looking for homes in the next couple weeks. (They are a mix of Dark Brown and Black). She is located in Kitchner and honestly I wouldn't buy from any where else. She gives you a full family history of the puppies and a starter kit as well (food, toys,blanket and some toys) as well as vet checked and all up to date on their shots that are needed by the time they leave to their forever home.
