Hello RFDer's

Thanks in advance!

By advanced-request from any butcher (white house, friendly butcher, etc). Possibly at a place with a butcher counter like Highland farms. I think I saw it once at Costco, but I might be imagining. They definitely have flank steak though, which is similar.

Skirt steak is not flank steak. Similar flavor but completely different texture. I can't find it anywhere.

If you're going out to a restaurant, you can find it at Texas Longhorn on Dundas west of Tomken in Mississauga.

I've seen skirt steak packaged and sliced at Pat Mart on Bloor near Christie. I dunno the exact price, but I rmb it being quite high.

I learned something new today. Sounds from the Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skirt_steak) that it is like a flank steak but cut the other way across the grain. OP, what have you got lined up to make with this skirt steak?
