View Full Version : Finally, a contactless all-weather camera

It's about time that someone has released a contactless camera. If a $20 toothbrush can use induction charging for its battery, a camera should be able to do the same thing. Funny thing is that it's from Sony... but of course, only for the Japanese market.

It's also interesting to see that this camera with its tiny sensor also uses some of the technologies in the NEX and alpha cameras. Now, I hope Sony releases it in North America soon.

If the quality is good, it'll give the Panasonic TS4 a good run for the money.
