Say if I buy a new stove from Leons or The Brick and get them delivered. Do they take out my old stove as well? Or do I have to take care of that myself. And if so, how do I get rid of my old stove?

IIRC sears charges an extra $40 I think to take the old one away...kinda stupid I think.
My dad was too cheap to pay that and a month later we had a hole in the wall trying to bring the old washer up the stairs.

Look on kijiji. There are tonnes of ads looking to pick up scrap. Contact them, and they'd be glad to come grab it.

If it still works and is in OK shape, then your options are even greater.

Leon's official policy is NO, they don't take away old appliances, but they will move it to the street curb. Some RFD members have claimed that if you ask the actual delivery people to dispose it for you, they will do it because they make money by selling it to a wrecker or something. I ordered a fridge last year and the Leon's delivery people would not dispose to old one. I even offered them $20, but the answer was no. They did, however, take it to the curb for me.
