Mac's: Free Peanut Butter Twix Bar (Ontario Stores Only, February 13-19)

Mac's Convenience has another nice freebie coming up later this month, so mark your calendars! Previous freebies from Mac's have included Banana Bread, Apple Slices, Pepsi and Ketchup Chips. Here's what's coming up: February 13-19, you can get a free Peanut Butter Twix Candy Bar when you present this coupon (http://www.mymacs.ca/sites/default/files/coupon-C-P11-twix.jpg) at participating Mac's Convenience stores in Ontario.

There's a limit of one coupon per customer, and it can't be combined with any other coupon. This coupon is valid while supplies last, at participating stores in Ontario.

The RFD staff is divided on the issue of the Peanut Butter Twix -- some pro, some con. (I'm pro!)

Twix are one of my favourite chocolate bars. Can't wait to try the Peanut Butter Twix especially for free.

I remember this from the early 90's, and it was so delicious... I love peanut butter chocolate bars, and free makes it even more delicious!

Assuming the bar code is generic for all coupons, the retailer would not know you used the coupon multiple times. Otherwise, the only time I can see you being refused is if the employee recognizes you and refuses to give it to you as the coupon clearly states "one coupon per Macs member only".

For the free banana bread slice, it seemed like it's the same coupon for everyone. However if there's enough abuse over these coupons, I'm sure in the future there will be different bar codes.

i wonder since wal mart takes competitor coupons at times if they will honour this... or bed bath and beyond or home outfitters lol they both sell chocolates from time to time not sure if twix is there though.

Same thing happened to me, which was awesome. Didn't expect that to happen. Thought he'd just tell us to go away since he didn't have the PB ones.

Macs took over Thunder Bay some years ago. Can't go a couple blocks without running into one. There is one across the street from my house, another 2 blocks away from that and another 4 blocks from here. Can't pass up these freebies! :lol:

Used my coupon today - no problems. Funny thing is that I didn't even need the coupon - someone before me left a bunch of coupon printouts in the box with the chocolate bars for the taking.

I went to the first nearby Mac's location and they didn't have any peanut butter ones. I asked if I could get a regular one. They declined.

I went to another nearby Mac's location, and although there were formerly some peanut butter ones, they ran out. They offered me a regular one and didn't scan the coupon. Nice!

the peanut butter ones were on a different rack and not on the usual chocolate bar rack (the clerk wasn't aware they even had the peanut butter ones).

I went to Mac's at Bathurst and Steeles... the cashier said a lot of people were coming in with coupons and they aren't working.. so I couldn't get a free twix. It seems like everyone has been able to get them though so not sure if it was just this location. :|
