Does Amazon accept Vanilla Mastercards (prepaid credit cards)?

Yep, why wouldn't they ? Its the basic thing as an actual card.

I think I tried one on .CA a while back.

The problem with prepaids is they don't contain your info. So they can't verify the card via convential methods. I think I even had a Vanilla one (well west edmonton mall one, which was vanilla with a different image on the front). There was a website you could put in your postal code to attached it to the card, but I still couln't get it to pass authentication on amazon.

Generally when you shop online, they match the card against your name, address etc.... So prepaids cause issues because they aren't setup for that.
