Quick story about the issue. Ordered some flowers well in advance of Valentines Day (my kids wanted to buy some flowers for her and i was away till tonight in the USA so delivery best option for us)
I decided to order them via Costco, with some deal posted on here a few weeks back. They shipped them yesterday afternoon via UPS (crap !) and they were sent with a guaranteed delivery before noon today (Feb 14th). Come home today at 6pm, no flowers...check the tracking...have been sitting in their depot since yesterday afternoon. Call UPS to figure out wtf happened...basically tell me the driver must of missed it ? Then tell me even though it's guaranteed it's not guaranteed to be delivered on time. Whatever that means. They reach the driver to double check if it's on the truck. It's not. Call me back and tell assure me they'll be delivered tomorrow before noon, guaranteed (ha !). Basically means the flowers will probably be dead by then...two days in a box...
So it was too late to call Costco to see if anything could be done they closed at 6pm. UPS basically washed their hands of it, I'd rather deal with Costco and let them deal with UPS as they have the contracts and the guarantee with them.
Anyone deal with Costco.ca customer service ? Do i have a case here to get some $ back or the flowers re-sent ? The kids were so disappointed...i'm none too pleased about it either. But then again it's UPS they've never been a good company in my mind, ever.
