Are you talking about working as part of Randstad's own staff or use their service to find a job because they are an employment agency if you havent noticed.

I used to work for Randstad and I used to be a client of Randstad and I was a candidate through Randstad.
I have the full experience.

So are they a good company:
#1 to work for
#2 to work with
???
They are an option for my type of employment (me=employee) but was wondering if their interest are the same as mine, or are they more of an employer friendly broker? I have a unique situation and collaborating closely with a broker will be key.

What do you mean unique situation?
Everyone's unique. Everyone has a situation.
Their interest is to place people in jobs and make money, that's just simply business. They are paid by clients to find the best fit for the position.

#1: To work for
Yes, but you have to understand the nature of the beast, the industry. Very fast paced, very competitive, very tough. Randstad prides itself being a top employer for their own staff, as compensation is fair and encourages team work as opposed to going after each other's throats for sales etc. Work environment is nice, one thing I liked is they use Ahrend furniture (http://www.ahrend.nl) and offices "feel" good.
#2: To work with
Sales approach as a client is great, during sales visits they focus on corporate culture, fit, key skills, of what future candidates should have. Consultants are always easy to work with and friendly, and importantly professional but not stuffy.
