Pretty hot deal here IMHO but not sure if this post should be in the deals category under Home, Beauty or Apparel! :)

Oh FouFou you Princess you! That doggy raincoat is you! Mouhahahaha! :D
Seriously though, I checked the prices out and they're definitely much better than your local corner B&M pet shop.

You can also price match with FouFou at Future Shop on stuff!

Warning that the doggy poop bags are overpriced at $4.99. You can pick those up at dollar stores for $1 to $2 dollars.

Future Shop and Best Buy should have the dresses and tee's and tanks in by spring. (photos from FouFoudog.com)

doggy poop bags are usually up for grabs along parks, why can't use any supermarket bags after you buy your groceries?

At BB and FS? So it is true about women peculiar shopping habits... At least it doesn't cost as much as that Panasony 70" OLED 4D one that every big balls male lusts for.

You could but one of the main reasons why stores are charging 5 cents per bag is to reduce the amount that make it to landfills. PLastic bags are one of the most problematic items for landfills as they take forever to biodegrade and they blow all over the place. The .05 barely covers the cost of the bags and I know loblaws at least donates some of the bag proceeds to PC childrens Charity.

The 60 bags at the dolalr store for 1.49 are actually cheaper than using the grocery bags and the fact that they are more biodegradable will help out the environment as well.

This, is simply not correct.

Plastic bags have a real cost of about 1 to 1.5 cents each. Loblaws/Metro is now making a 3.5 to 4 cent profit on each bag they "sell", as opposed to losing 1 to 1.5 cents on each bag the used to give away.

If you think they switched to the 5 cent bad fee due to a sudden concern for the environment, you're dreaming.

You know why they switched from paper to plastic in the first place?

Paper bags were ~5 cents each. Plastic was 1/3 the cost. That's why the 100% biodegradable or recyclable paper bags went away in the first place.

If they really wanted to be environmentally sensitive, they'd go back to paper and charge the actual cost of 5 cents. But then they'd lose their 3-4 cents profit.

So they'll continue to charge 5 cents for plastic, no paper option, and claim it's "for the environment".

And the hippies will cheer and sleep well at night, thinking they've saved the world.
