DirectAir has a sale on right now for $79 one way inc taxes from Niagara Falls. You can check Allegiant as well. Take carryon luggage with both so you don't get dinged with baggage fees.

For flights within North America, it's usually cheapest to just book on the airlines websites.

There aren't that many airlines that fly from Buffalo:

www.kayak.com is a tool that will search the major airlines websites.

Southwest doesn't allow it's website to be searched using tools like Kayak, so you'll have to search that separately. I'm unsure if Airatran does.

Also check Southwest.com - because their flights don't show up on Kayak, etc.
Do some reading about DirectAir. We had a so-so experience with them flying from Niagara Falls to Lakeland last month. Price was awesome, as was the Niagara Falls airport, but we had some major delays getting out. I know delays happen everywhere, but it sounds like there is a much higher likelyhood with a carrier like DirectAir, since they don't own any of their own aircraft, and are pretty much up the creek when something goes wrong. I would say to definitely build some buffer into your schedule in the event of any delays. Other than that, I think they are a great option.
