Newbie to smartphones, I want to buy a iPhone 4s, what's the better phone to buy the 16, 32 or 64GB? What's the main reason why someone would need to buy a 32GB or a 64GB? I want to get one that I wouldn't have to upgrade after 6 months or so. Thanks in advance.

Are you doing HUP (hardware upgrade)? If it was me, I'll get either the 32gb or 64gb. Why? Movies, apps, pics, songs, etc take up space. If i'm doing the HUP, I would just get the phone with the largest storage since you'll have to wait 2-3 years before getting the chance to do HUP again.

I recently picked up the 64GB 4S. Videos is THE reason why, I only have about 5GB of Music and 2GB of Photos & Apps.

The only difference is the storage. iPhone does not support expandable storage so you have to decide how much space you're going to require from the beginning. If you don't have a huge collection of music then just go for the cheapest option

Thanks for the replies, I don't plan on saving very many videos. I think the 16GB might be the better option but for $100 more would you get the 32GB one just in case you do need the extra storage? main reason would be that the iPhone is not expandable with external microSD cards.

Yes, I'm doing an upgrade. It makes sense to go with the 32 or even 64GB. I'm not one of those guys that change phones whenever a new one comes out.

No one here can tell you how much storage you'll need on your phone. If you can afford the $100, go for extra storage.
