My budget is under ~$500
I'm looking to shoot inside/outside (dawn), mostly 1-2 meter of interviewing, without any extra lighting.
I do not need a great depth of field
What i need is minimum HD 720p (non-interlaced) @ 60fps & 1080p30 or higher
I already own Flip mini HD, and Creative Vado Hd, the Color/Video quality is too blurry noisy for the light settings i need.
min 1 hour of recording, which i can easily import using After effects CS3
6x or higher optical zoom
Exernal microphone input & tripod hole is a must.
I do not care about bulkiness, as long as the quality is there.

Basically i need Canon 5D Mark II, alternative for 500bucks.

Could anyone please suggest anything in this field.
Thanks

Ps. I was looking @ EOS Digital Rebel T3, Sony Alpha NEX-5 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 so something along those lines.

avoid the t3 as its only 720p HD the fz150 is good but honestly I would look at a gh1 or gh2 which have better video

actually for ur needs avoid a dslr as they can only do about 25mins at a time. Unless you are ok with that

I'd go with the NEX-5, it's a very capable camera.
