Ok, just narrow it down to one. It will be interesting to see how many people say the same movie. I'll go first.

Blues brothers 2000, worst movie I've seen

Oh and you have to have seen the whole thing, I don't want to see people shutting a movie off at the 10 minute mark and say it's the worst they saw lol

Knowing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knowing_(film)), with Nicholas Cage

This was by far the worst movie I had ever seen, yet...I couldn't stop watching it, lol

Close second for me was Gran Torino, the acting by the Asian actors in that movie was horrendous, making the movie a really hilarious 2 hours for me

The Dark Knight - I can't believe it was as popular as it was - horrendous.

Wow you guys must not have seen a lot of movies as everything that ppl have listed are within the last 10 yrs. You want to watch a bad movie, "The River Runs Through It" takes the cake. It's absolutely terrible and boring, it's basically 2 hrs of fly fishing and bland storyline thrown in there. Everything that has been listed is Oscar worthy in comparison to this brutal movie.

'Worst film' implies just that - horrendous and in no way satisfying.
No 'so bad it was funny'! No 'the special effects were so cheesy'! Your answer should showcase something that questions the fact of why the film was made in the first place.

Other than Battlefield Earth, The Happening and a couple more, the others are either good films that someone may not have enjoyed, or just crappy films.

My pick goes to Freddy Got Fingered for worst film I've ever seen.

However, just to go with the general theme of this thread, I absolutely despised Michael Clayton - something that many thought highly of, but made me want to gouge my eyes out; like users who mentioned Lost in Translation, Gran Torino and Dark Knight (films that are considered good)

Out of the almost 1100 movies I've left a rating for on my IMDB profile, these are the only 1/10 movies:

The Human Centipede 2 (the absolute worst)
The Pest
Saw 3D
Hostel Part 2
Meet the Spartans

Meet the Spartans

I have to agree with this movie... God dammit.. I think it destroyed some of my brain cells. I had to change the channel after the first couple minutes.

Parody movies are the worst... ie. scary movie 1-4, superhero movie, not another teen movie, etc.

Not Another Teen Movie at least had a couple funny moments (although it was still terrible) plus boobs. Really nice boobs. If you're going to be awful, at least give us nudity.

Worst for me is Don't Mess With The Zohan. I loved Gran Torino. I really enjoyed all the acting in it. Was pretty bang on.

Most recent Cantonese films I have watched are pretty bad.

Green Hornet was indeed bad, and Seth Rogan should never be a super hero again or be the only draw.
He really need someone who can support him.
Also, they should stop with the remakes, especially films that can no longer be applicable in this era, such as Footloose.
Furthermore, I really wish that the trailers matches the films.
I can't remember how many times I went into a film expecting to see a specific type of film because of the trailer, only to watch something that is not even remotely close to what I expected.
I am still angry about Deja Vu, which I thought it was going to be a thriller, but it turned into a sci fi film.
It really was false advertising.
Finally, just avoid Nicholas Cage films.
The guy's broke; he's not picky about his films.

Other than that, this year had been pretty good so far, as I don't think there are too many bad films.

Sorry to hear that's the worst movie you've ever seen, because I really enjoyed that one - a delightfully eerie b-movie.

With a cast featuring John Malkovich, Ron Perlman, Thomas Jane, Pras from the Fugees among others, one would expect Mutant Chronicles (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0490181/) to be at least decent. It is not. Ron Perlman's accent is unintentionally hilarious. The movie can't decide whether or not it's a comedy. Devon Aoki shows no skin. There is nothing at all redeeming about Mutant Chronicles.

I liked the first half of the movie. It was a cool and effective psychological thriller. Then people started getting sucked into the sky and the movie became ridiculous.

Batman and Robin! Arnold as Freeze! Clooney as Batman! Robin and Batgirl!

Was forced to watch it 5 times in two days when I flew to Australia - it was playing on EVERY FLIGHT! I wanted to take the plane down but couldn't get my shoe bomb to ignite! :D
