Has anyone seen these around Toronto? I've checked a bunch of grocery stores and had no luck.

I know they had a celebration at the Eaton Centre today but I can't tell if the box of cookies were limited to the US only.

Also, if anyone's tried one... are they any good?

did anyone actually go to the Eaton Centre event?
wanted to go, but didn't want to waste my time if they were just giving out single cookies.

Yup,

I was at the Trinity Common 'Zellers' at 80 Great Lakes Dr, Brampton, came across these delights during a grocery run and picked up 4 packages of the stuff! :D

The top shelve of the cookie aisle was solely dedicated to these cookies. 1.99$ on sale the week I went. Haven't tried em' yet, though.

Here's a picture to confirm,

We got some at Sobey's, quite good actually, they taste like a chocolate cupcake. The cookie is a bit softer and I think there is more vanilla flavour in the icing.

They do taste much different than a regular oreo, they taste exactly and strongly like birthday cake with store bought icing. My kids love them.

We bought them and didn't really care for them - tastes like fake vanilla flavoured icing. I was hoping for normal Oreo flavour but with sprinkles.

I've checked 10 groceries stores including Walmart and Zellers and still haven't found them. I guess these cookies really are/were limited edition.

They are trying to make another batch of these at the factory. Not sure when/if they'll be out again but I would expect this month. I'll try to find out more when I speak to a rep again.

Yeah, I think they're pretty exclusive to specific stores. The ONLY place I've seen them was in the Zellers @ Trinity Commons. They had one package @ the City Centre Zellers, but haven't seen them anyplace else in Brampton. Good thing I picked up a couple for myself, and 2 of the Fudge Cremes Oreos I luckily found @ the Walmart in Square One. :D

Does anyone know if these cookies are still available anywhere in the GTA?

Same here. Not sure if they are popular or just don't have a lot of stock or if they are even stocking them regularly.

There won't be another run of these from the actual factory.

Whatever is left in stock at stores/warehouses is it. Get 'em while you still can!

Just posting to confirm a sighting of the Birthday Oreo cookies @ Square One Walmart in Mississauga. A Display stocked full of the cookies if you're willing to make the trek.

^ and 'these' cookies are one of the same, only more 'filling'. That's not to say I'm disappointed, on the contrary bringing these cookies back again has me filled with joy! ...and 'frosting',

My coworker found these at the Longo's on Rathburn in Mississauga. Pretty good, still prefer the original over these though. I just read that they have Dulce de Leche Oreos in Chile and Argentina. I hope they bring those over here!

They've consistently had them at the Metro in the Yonge/Eglinton centre. I've seen them on display since they've come out and didn't think to try just because I thought they were like regular Oreos but with a colourful inside. Now that I'm being told that they taste like birthday cake..... I'm running out the door right now lol :)
