Getting SPAMMED by the NDP

I will never again financially contribute to a political party, WTF. I seriously get about 5 calls a week asking me for more money, asking me to volunteer my time... I get a lot of emails too, and even when I click to unsubscribe I still get them. I never ever got spammed when Jack Layton was leader, I don't know what's up with them right now! I realize the leadership race is going on but they're just making me not care anymore. I honestly wish I hadn't renewed my membership now argh.

Well, at least this comes after you have donated. On the other hand, I have not donated to CP, yet they still call me and send flyers.

The calls are a bit much, send flyers if you want, I can choose to read them or not. I guess the same is true for email but it annoys me that I don't WANT the emails and click to unsubscribe but they still send them to me. Two copies, one in french, and then another in english. Very spammy. The calls annoy me MORE because they always talk fast about how much my money would HELP SO MUCH. I'm a stay at home mom, I don't **** bricks of money and I don't have unlimited resources. I had someone argue with me last week because I wouldn't donate money to some hockey foundation and when I said I had no money to donate he actually snorted and said that if I wanted to enough I'd find a way. I'm just going to start refusing to give anyone money (charities or political parties) over the phone. If I have extra money I can seek out worthy charities myself.

Anyone read that article about the Torries posing as liberals / Election Canada officials to sway the Liberal vote in some small riding?
