Any good security companies in Toronto?

Hey guys,
I'm 18 and recently got my security license. I don't have any work experience, other than my 40 hour volunteering for my high school diploma. Are there any security companies that would
- hire someone without any previous work/security experience
- pay $11/hr. or more
and that don't have a terrible reputation?
I tried with so many companies and none were successful so far -_-
If anyone can give me some advice, that would be great! thanks :D

Any contract-security gig will take you, such as intercon, g4s, paragon etc.

I worked with G4S during school and did overnights on weekends in an office building. No prior experience before being hired. I sent my resume to them and was told to go directly to their office to fill out their application form and complete a basic skills assessment test. I went there with a friend to do it and someone also did a quick interview with us.

A couple weeks later, they called my friend to go in for an orientation but they didn't call me. I went anyways and they just hired me lol.

Intercon wouldn't take me cause I don't have any work experience. I applied to Paragon a few days ago and if I get lucky, they will have an opening and will call me back. I tried with G4S in December but I wasn't at home when they called me, and I called them back many times but with no success, I guess I'll try G4S again :).

There's also Securitas and TSM (Total Security Management) to name a couple more bigger companies

Considering they have to pay $10.25 or more by law, I'm sure many, if not all, of them would offer $11.00 or more.

Having no work experience is hard, but I would try for some smaller companies before attempting to get in to the bigger ones like Group 4 Securicor (G4S). That, or try and reach out to people at the bigger companies and ask for advice, etc.

edit: just read you got called back by G4S, try and call that person back (I'm sure they left a voicemail?) Or, try and put a (professional sounding) email on your resume in case they decide to email rather than call.
