Big 4s are advertising their ''national conference event'' aka pwc creating brillian future conference event etc. You have to apply with a resume and cover letter and go through the interview process in order to participate. I read over the event description and it seems that these events are targeting university students. KPMG even states that preference given to 2nd and 3rd year of students. I am debating with myself whether I should apply because I've already graduated. But if I apply I will state my convocation date, which is November 2011, just to make it more recent. Anyone here can share some insights? Especially those who are pursuing their CAs.

Thank you! Really appreciate your time and help!

Yea when they say they target 2nd and 3rd years they mean it. Its like trying to apply for a Summer Internship after you have graduated.

PWC take the lead, KPMG Fast Forward blah blah target mainly 2nd years who go to the conferences and then apply to summer internships between 3rd and 4th year.

There's no harm in applying however. What's the worst that could happen?

The theory is that all the best students are found in 3rd year (and sometimes even 2nd year). If you're still applying in 4th year (or later), it means you don't have a full-time offer already from securing an internship/co-op earlier.

These conferences are generally very competitive. May as well apply anyway (try to attending networking events to get your name out there). But as a graduate, I would put your chances as low to very low of being successful (though don't let random people on the internet discourage you).
