This is a pretty good show. Been going every year. They have been doing the e-waste thing for a few years, great of Samsung to sponsor that

I went last year and it was great. Got a free travel mug from CAA that had a free coupon for Tim's. Which reminds me, I haven't used it yet.

I was trying to sell my cd rom.
Seems like it worth a ticket.

Have a monitor that I wish to get rid of, but I would need parking if I was to go, the old crts are heavy to get there on ttc

If going by car, I would bring a group to get rid of a larger amount of e-waste

or I could just use the free admission that came with the metropass

Went yesterday. Cost me an old obsolete keyboard to get in. They will take just about anything as a donation. I saw calculators, toasters, pretty much anything.

It was student day yesterday, so I think some of the booths were keeping there freebies out of sight. Still plenty of food samples to graze on. If I had been able to stop and talk with more of the vendors I'm sure there would have been other freebies available.

Anyone know the price of parking at this place?

$13-$14 in front of the building, I parked at the Ontario Place, $5 flat fee, just across the Lakeshore, 5 minutes walk to the building

It wasn't as good as previous years but I still enjoyed myself. Bought some stuff at discounted prices (tortillas, yogurt, kambucha, chocolate) and enjoyed some samples. Also bought some food from the restaurant/vendors on the south end.

Marking this deal as expired since fest is over.

Ya, I hate to say it, but this show was garbage this year. Anyone who paid $15 to get in must have been outraged.
