I'd be interested in seeing if such a thing exists too at a reasonable price

i've used one based out of manchester that was really great and quite fair with the cost. they kept constant communication throughout the whole process so you were not left hanging or wondering what was going on.

and they break down the costs so you know what you paying for everything. they even use a few different methods so you can pick what's best cost wise for you...

here is their link :

it's been a few months since i used them, there is a woman i think named "liz" and a man whom his name slips my mind at the moment who deal with the UK to canada stuff. there is a $20 fee then the cost of the postage or courier to send it.

they basically let you use their address as your UK address, the item goes to them, then they email you to let you know it's arrive then they weight it and give you the best options for which to send it to you. i had ordered a heavy triumph motorcycle jacket off ebay, the seller wouldn't ship overseas so i used this company. it cost me about $60 and they even filled out the customs form to show it was used so as to avoid duty or taxes (it was used btw).

they packaged everything safe and secure and arrived without a problem !

oh, they also provide you with tracking so you can monitor things to know when you will expect it.

very good company !
