Roller coasters usually bore me, but I might give this one a shot.

Wow, looks huge. I'm sure the line-ups will be huge as well. I'd try this one out...

Have been watching them build this one from the ground up since the fall, looks absolutely massive... makes Behemoth seem quite small by comparison.

I'm pretty sure it has the longest drop for a non-launched coaster in the world, so that's pretty special. Not to mention it's the tallest and fastest in Canada.

I can't wait for it. The only bad thing about this is you get a aerial view of all that sprawl.

Hypercoasters such as Leviathan and Behemoth generally do not have loops as they are designed for speed and airtime.

I didn't know Japanese passenger trains weren't protected from the elements and went over 300 foot hills.

I am surprised how fast they built this up. I went to Wonderland this summer and they just started moving the parts into the park. It looks like the Behemoth on steroids.. same type of run?

You were on the slow train then as high speed trains there go 300km/h. And I didn't know Japanese trains went down 300ft long slopes at an angle of 80 degrees with the passengers in open air vehicles with just a lap harness. You would pee your pants and cry for your mommy on this ride.

Yeah, but do you get to lineup for 2hrs to get on the train for a 1 minute ride? See. SEE!

The 737 I took to Halifax cruises at 800km/h and somewhere around 30,000 ft, so that lame little "high speed" train can suck it.

edit: aww beaten to the joke. Anyway this coaster seems to similar to bahemoth. When I designed my parks in roller coaster tycoon, I would never build coasters so similar. Thats just tacky.

Well, after watching the video I feel that I've experienced enough to cross it off my todo list for the next visit..

[b]You would pee your pants and cry for your mommy on this ride.]/b] :facepalm:I probably would. When I went on the Behemoth the one time, I was at the front... and my stomach couldn't imagine going back on it afterwards. LOL

My friend and I just looked at each other and we burst into laughter at the end, but I thought the 75-degree angle was freaky enough. I'm pretty sure I was braver when I was a kid, but oh well. I realize it's not the tallest in the world by far, but it's still a sickening thrill.

Before we got our turn, there was this 12-13 year old boy who was sitting waiting to launch, saying "Yay, Behemoth!!!!" when he returned... he was quiet and his spooked-out face had tears streaming down his cheeks. LOL awwww. :(

Oh god, I just watched the video of the Leviathan. I'm getting nervous watching it, and I'm not even experiencing the 'scariest' parts of it for me, which includes (to recall my experience of the Behemoth, yes I am a pansy):

1) the climb. Slowly going up and up gives you a lot of time to look around you and see how high up you are. The Behemoth goes as high up as the Drop Zone, I believe.
2) being suspended at the top for a few seconds while looking DOWN...
3) the machine-sounding clicks and release....
4) feeling the G's... (actually this part is kinda nice.)

:O

Top Gun is still one of the best and now will a small lineup is the best "bang for buck" ride.

If you are a season pass holder then there is the preview night on April 27 where people can try Leviathan or any other ride

I disagree. The Mighty Canadian Minebuster is where it's at. The fear doesn't come from the speed or loops, but whether or not you remained in your seats (I remember when the lap bar was just a bar that folded over like the edge of a cardboard box and came no where near touching your lap), or if the entire structure held together.

Got to love the old wooden roller coasters. The mine buster also comes with the added danger(or certainty) of permanent back injuries even if you stay in the car. That thing is bumpy and hurts like a ***** to ride, lol.

Plus those headchoppers in the last stretch of the ride! I always have flashbacks to that Final Destination movie when everyone was killed on the roller coaster when I'm on this ride.

YES! The Canadian Minebuster is my favourite ride... just the perfect mix of fun and thrill :) (but more fun.)

The last time we went, we also went on this stupid ride called the Time Warp (previously called Tombraider? Donno.) Anyway, it was kinda scary cuz you lay flat on this contraption, but my friend made me crack up so bad... "OMG!!! I think.... I think I'm warping through time!!!"

Oh... and the Teacups... I love those. But I'm not a kid so I'm not allowed to ride them at Canada's Wonderland. :( (Went on them at the CNE though.)

I thought you liked riding the Wild Beast? When I was 10 or 11 I liked the Wildebeest and I remember convincing my younger brother (8 or 9) to try it out, too, after I'd gone on like 4-5 times. I'll never forget the look of sheer terror in his face while I was laughing my head off from the ride... he was too scared to even scream. :( BAD SISTER.

I sat in the first row on the Behemoth, and lifted my arms in the air the whole time. That was friggin scary! When you flew over the bumps, i thought for sure i'd get lifted straight into the air.

I can't wait to take on the Leviathan.

And yes Top Gun is the best bang for your buck. It's got crazy turns and feels like your head is gonna hit every damn bar around every damn corner. :D

I DEFINITELY could not gather the courage to have my arms in the air on the Behemoth. I'm just so paranoid that I will slip out of those restraints...or that somehow they will fail and unlock/open up...

Yes, the amazing thing about the Canadian Minebuster was that it actually made you feel that the wooden coaster could collapse at any time or that you would be flung out if you didn't hold on for dear life. It was even better when it first opened, and it didn't have a divider slot between the two riders and you would be thrown around like crazy.

I've jumped out of a helicopter, but I refuse to go on rollercoasters. I know I'm weird.
