Hey! i was wondering, if i have a blackberry bold 9900 and i want to switch to an iphone 4s, would i be able to cut the sim from my bb bold and put it into the 4s? its a bell plan, unlimited text, bbm, 150 min, NO DATA. If i can, will there be and extra charges?

iPhones use a micro sim card. Not sure about the BB but I don't think it does. I'm guessing you would have to switch to the new sim.

all you need is an x-acto knife or a pair of scissors and you're good to go, I've done this with 2 rogers sim cards and they work perfectly fine.

To turn a regular SIM Into a Micro SIM you can use a SIM card cutter which you can pay a service fee of like $3 to get your SIM card cut either at a Wireless Carrier store or Pmall If your In the area.. If you're willing to wait It out you can buy a SIM card cutter on eBay for like >$10.

You can also DIY with just scissors or a knife of some sort.. I did that but I messed mine up haha..

You won't be the only one.

BlackBerry Loses Top Spot to Apple at Home (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-03-22/blackberry-loses-top-spot-to-apple-at-home-corporate-canada.html)

RIM, based in Waterloo, Ontario, shipped 2.08 million BlackBerrys last year in Canada, compared with 2.85 million units for Apple, data compiled by IDC and Bloomberg show. In 2010, the BlackBerry topped the iPhone by half a million, and in 2008, the year after the iPhone’s debut, RIM outsold Apple by almost five to one.

Don't do it. You will regret it. ;)

The way I would do it is just get a micro sim when you get the 4s or just go ask for one at the Apple store. Then just call bell and get them to switch it. Don't do it at bell because they might charge you. Should be free online through your account or on the phone.

Most likely yes. I am with robbers but that is how it works. Doing it over the phone or online is free as long as you have the micro sim. They usually charge for the microsim but you should get a free one with your phone, if not just go to the apple store and say you bought an iPhone from them and you need a bell micro sim.

You would need data or wifi.

Some carrier gives you social data for like $5/mo
