This is awesome. With so little to choose from, they are much happier than most of us who have trillions of options in our daily life.

The title made it sound more horrible than it actually looks. I'm sure it's no picnic but it looks cozy in its own way. Their circumstances make me sad but I imagine it could have been worse.

The last picture is terribly cute. The kid is sleeping in my favourite position to sleep in as well--the starfish!

Clearly you don't understand the concept. It's not about where you live, it's how you live it. They're living life to the fullest while people like us with so much money, complain like btches as if there's no tomorrow.

Money isn't everything, but seriously, you better have your Toilet rent by the end of the week.

That's so sad it makes me want to cry. It really puts things into perspective. I feel so bad for the family. It's great that they're making the most of things though.

only thing that confuses me is how they're able to afford a computer and 2 flat screen monitors. I guess they've gotten so used to the place that they chose to upgrade the other aspects of their life instead of moving to a better home

but very nice story nonetheless

I always thought I lived in some crappy places.

It ain't all bad for them; instead of the using a Big Green Egg, they have their choice of Big White Eggs for bbq-ing. There's never a lineup for the bathroom in the morning...
