I did a search and the first things I get back are:

Amazon.com - 9 stones with a pouch (1 more stone that DOTD) is 16.98.
ThinkGeek - 9 stones with pouch 19.99

Even with shipping, this is hardly $40. Ok, I guess you save a few bucks, but 250 purchased?

I was trying to believe that RFD's version has less BS.

Just a comment that, this is a great idea to use scrap granite and make little cubes to be used instead of ice.

These are just the latest in the long line of overpriced merchandise making their rounds in group deals. Several group buy sites offered these at the same time last week. I guess whoever was selling them is still going strong.
