is there fake metropass outthere anymore?

just bought a metropass for this april from kijiji, it's a mdp pass, and then i was thinking could it be fake, it has hologram and everything and it looks same as my roomate's pass, so i wonder is there a chance it could still be fake :P, i searched on google and found most related posts are dated back to 2010 so does that mean there rarely any fake ones out there anymore?

Just curious why somebody would sell a pass for next month on kijiji with a discount unless of course it is a fake one. And if there is no discount why buy it on kijiji?

it's a mdp plan, he bought for like a whole year in advance i think , it is like 110, somewhat cheaper, but i ve learnt my lesson, will buy from a station next time

You could try going to Davisville and explaining to them ... MAYBE they can swipe it to find out if it's real. If not, you lose the pass. The other thig to try, is find the guy on Kijiji again, ans see if he's selling more then 1 ... If not, probably a legit pass

yea, thanks for the advice, i think am gonna go to a station to try tommorrow, and that guy deleted the ad afterwards :P

Go to a turnstile without an operator (such as Yonge St entrance by the Reference Library) and try it there.

It's not going to work until April 1st.

People should be deleting the ad once the item is sold, otherwise they'd continue to get enquiries.
