I once applied for a job where I would do nothing other than wear a sandwich board and hand out menus. I didn't get it. They took one look at me and thought "No, we just can't rely on this person to physically exist under a sandwich board". I was devastated.

If your work doesn't need any effort at all, why would you deserve to get paid for said work?

Sounds like you need to become a security guard - the most time wasting job ever. In fact, it's so time wasting, that they need to pay way above minimum wage just to get people to do it. All you need to do is stand out front of a bank in a yellow jacket and do nothing at all. If the bank ever gets robbed you do not attempt to stop them, you only record info. So there you go, useless job. I think you'll find it very rewarding and stimulating.

You should pitch this as a reality show.

Looks like you've already found one by making goofy topics periodically in the careers section of RFD.

what if you only do work for like 3 hours a day? there are lot of jobs like that. "nothing at all" is probably near impossible, but "very little" is quite common.

Better yet apply for a job as a "security guard" for the front lobby at condos.
