:lol::lol:

Trudeau laid quite a beating on what's his name. Does anyone have a screen capture of the end of the video where what's his name is all battered and bloodied? The result of the fight is for the best though, what's his name is far better suited for a shaved head anyways.

Such a douchey PR stunt, shows what a joke Canadian politics has become.
Shame on anyone involved in something so irrelevant and undignified. I presume Rick Mercer was covering this event for his show as well?

Whats the next stunt for attention, a *****-fest?

I agree it's an attention-grabber for the politicians, but in all fairness, it did raise a couple hundred grand for a very worth cause. Re: the bukkake-fest...my money is on John Baird, hands down.

They raised $230,000 for cancer research. That should be the only criteria when judging this type of an event. Kudos to both for bringing the audience ($$$) with their high exposure names.

So there was absolutely no more dignified way to raise $ for cancer research, huh?
Again, why not have a ***** party to raise money then? As long as moneys being raised, it's all ok, right?

Trudeaus a multi millionaire..he could write a cheque for that amount if he wanted. It's a political stunt, period.

At approximately 7 minutes of the bout (total time) the two politicians raised a substantial amount of money. I would say that is very impressive. I am also sure both do make their own donation(s) to a charity of their choice. I think you are missing the point of the entire event.

Is this any different than Jerry Lewis telethon? Raising money for a great cause. That's all.

Seeing Brazeau battered was a great cause in itself lol. Was there any back story at all? Settling a grudge or something?

I'd rather see Chretien whoop Mulroney's ***** . THAT would be worth paying to see, so long as real blows were landed.

How does a brawler, and a poor one at that, end up with a lifetime Senate appointlent? (Along with all the taxpayers' money that comes with it. He'll soon be a millionaire himself).

You have it backwards. Boxing (and Big Time Wrestling) are too dignified for politicians.

I guess Justin Trudeau will be the next prime minister now :)

I mean, how far are we away from this?

LOL no surprise there. I'm ashamed at the quality of people that the Conservatives attract now a days. Mayor Blob Lardship and his brother Hog Ford are other examples.

It's an annoying publicity getter . But at least they actually fought.

My favorite boxing PR stunt is when the movie director Uwe Boll invited some movie critics to rumble with him. The movie critics had given negative reviews to Boll's films and they thought the boxing match would be tongue in cheek, faux fight. Boll leveled all of them. : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uwe_boll#Critic_boxing_matches_.28Raging_Boll.29

Crazy guy.

So now the boxing is over and the main show begins... What do you guys think, what excuse will be used by Conservatives to weasel Brazeau out of pre-fight promise to cut hair and wear Liberal jersey? We all know Conservatives aren't too good in following promises they're making before the big day (Brazeau being one living breathing example of that). In fact, I suspect that Harper would be personally offended if Brazeau would follow the pledge...

One only needs to look at Pierres wiki to see that Justin comes from several generations of wealth. Pierre was wealthy from childhood, and a partner in a large law firm, as well as many other sources of income. hasnt been a poor PM in this country in as long as I can remember.
While there isnt much posted about Justins bank account balance, it is reasonable to assume his father didnt leave him penniless.

As opposed to his mother... ;)

Let's hope Mulroney Jr doesn't plan to follow his father's footsteps. One Lyin' Brian (and his cronies) was too many. The country can't afford another.

that's why he went into show business. Trying to change/improve Canada for Mulroney`s only works if there is a `stash`under the table.

They fought like gentlemen. That is the root cause of the Brazeau's problem. I firmly believe that he's better fighter in primal sense of the word, and that Trudeau would not stand a chance against him in a real street fight. But "gentlemen boxing" is different from a street fight. Different enough for Brazeau to lose the fight.

While that may be the case, Trudeau came with that understanding and a plan; Get the opponent tired and burn him out in the first two rounds and finish him off in the last. The poor dude fell into the trap. That's why he is a conservative.

Here's the epic Ballad of Justin and Patrick

Trudeau, Brazeau Boxing Poem Delivered By Liberal MP Rodger Cuzner (VIDEO)

Lanky Liberal for the win! Here are some of the best tweets/comments after the bout.

@danallan89: Tomorrow's Sun News headline: Justin Trudeau assaults aboriginal man in hotel #FFTC12 #SunFight

"@Zorpheous: Trudeau celebrates earth hour by knocking Brazeau's lights out #cdnpoli #CPC

@Jamie_Post Harper should hire Trudeau's gloves. Very effective message delivered by both the left and right tonight. #cdnpoli #lpc

Brazeau has a big welt under his eye. Even Ezra Levant is drinking the Kool Aid.

Trudeau: "I can take a hard hit and he didn't realize that."

"Everyone's a winner here tonight"

Brazeau says Trudeau didn't get him down. Gets booed.

He's still very out of breath, but asks for a rematch next year.
