I need a quality blender that will last 5+ years or a cheap one which ill have to replace every year. GTA

I just got a vitamix at costco. $500+ but I don't think it is an exaggeration to expect it to last 20+ years.

Just because it lasts much longer isn't the only reason to buy it...it also WORKS much better. Using and throwing away cheap ones each year sounds horrible.

I 've not had very good luck with any of my appliances lasting more than 2 yrs or so these days. With almost all the items being manufactured from you-know-where, it is unrealistic expectation to have them last more than 5 years. Maybe going for the one mentioned above from Costco is a good idea.

If you ok with used ones, check your local classifieds: Toronto Kijiji (http://toronto.kijiji.ca), Toronto Craigslist (http://toronto.craigslist.ca), Toronto Classifieds (http://toronto.buysellusedstuff.com/)

Also, checkout local garage sales, retail stores or Amazon in your area.
