So if you want to transfer to another University and transfer credits obviously from your current, how is an admission decision made? Is it based on your average of all the courses you took? Is it based on the most recent marks you've had? or are you just admitted based on having credits?

If your applying as a transfer student from another university, then they will be looking at your university grades. Check each university's admission average for transfer students as each school differs. Everything is outlined interms of the procedures and what not. You should not ask here, as people may give you incorrect information- just a heads up.

Does this school have a re-admittance policy for former/previous students? In my previous school and the one I transferred to, they both had a special application for students who withdrew (in good standing) and were now going back.

I think if you've been out of the institution for X years, you have to reapply. From my understanding, they re-assess all your credits you've taken since university. OP, you should just call in to ask about your situation. It's the easiest (and safest way) to get the answer you want or need to hear.

I did email Ottawa U to ask. Unfortunatley, they don't have an answer on their site like a lot of other schools.

they said 63%..that doesn't tell me much. out of a 4 that is 2.0 i think? the school I am currently at uses a scale of 12, ottawa u uses a 10. I'm confused.
