Hi Guys and Gals,
what do you think of above mentioned resort? I am traveling with 2 kids (3 and 1 year)?

I did not stay there, but I did stay at the Barcelo next door.
The best beach I have ever seen. And I have been to 4 islands and Mexico.
The people on the bus back to the airport loved that resort.
Read tripadvisor and the bus ride is almost 2 hours.

My ex-gfs parents went there back in mid-February. There was a food shortage on the resort and them along with others were scrambling for food. That was the first time I've ever heard of that and so did they. Out of the 9 times they've been to Cuba that was a first. However, I heard it was a bad few weeks in February in Cuba. Hopefully by now its all resolved. Make sure you drink bottled water that they usually have at every resort. I wouldn't risk drinking the tap water just in case. Other than that, they said the resort and grounds were nice.

Make sure you put 2 bottles of water in your checkin luggage so you'll have water to drink on the bus to the hotel. every hotel room has bottles of water. if you need more just tip the maid.;) don't forget MOSQUITO REPELLENTS

Thanks, now how much I should (reasonable) to tip the maid? Yes, last time when we went to Punta Cana, my wife took 6 can of water and end up paying over 50 in over weight luggage 8-(

Lol just 2 500ml bottle. last year I forgot about the water and it cost me $10us(2 bottles 500ml) in Cuacun airport:facepalm: I always tip $40CUC to the maid on the first day(2 rooms) and get whatever I want:cheesygri and if your package only allows 3 ala carte dinner. tip the reservation guy $20 and he'll make reservation for you the whole week:)
