Are very cheap. Got forced into the hospital by a friend. I'm now on iv, costs 210 rmb for iv and meds. The iv bed costs 9 rmb. The initial diagnosis is 27 and the temperature test was 10 rmb.
Apparently I have a mild fever. And a sore throat.
First time for iv in my life.
Also there is no line. In Ontario I'd still be in the waiting room.

1. Why do people need to be on here while they are on Vacation? seriously..
2. Are you sure you don't have Mono? I had a sore throat and was in the hospital and they put me on IV cause i had Mono.
3. Are you sure that's real IV?

last time I went to Emergency here the wait was 15mins on a saturday night.
But yes, private hospitals in China or even hkg (but $$$) is cheap. But I wouldn't want to goto a hospital in china, recycled needles and chinese manufactured iv? :cheesygri

Do yourself and the rest of us a favour and stay in China. Convince your friends and family to join you. Try and reverse the trend! /wave

LoL... Chinese doctors loves to prescribe random meds and IV's to patients whether they actually need them or not because 1) patients will feel it's "worth it" and 2) it's how hospital makes money.
Cold: IV
Hungry: IV
Scraped elbow: IV
Broken leg: IV

What? No money? That's okay. Take this purple med, rest on this hospital bed, and by the time you're good to go, you owe me the rest of your life.
