My cumpare used to date an ADHD stripper. She used to try to suffocate him in his sleep. He filmed it on hidden camera.

If you get properly diagnosed and get the proper treatment it should not matter.
Problem with ADD and ADHD these days is too many people are self diagnosing or simply looking for a crutch/excuse.
Marriages aren't guaranteed and can end for any/lesser reasons.
Your own marriage may end but ADHD may have nothing to do with it.

There's a difference between being ADHD and being psychotic.

ADHD are more likely to engage in risky or dangerous behavior, it has been suggested (????!!!!) that stimulant medications for persons with ADHD may actually result in lower incidence of premature death.[23] The use of Adderall is generally not advised in those persons with pre-existing cardiac or mental illnesses.
So how exactly is putting them on amphetamines supposed to fix that?
How else can anyone interpret that?
OP I've known people who were ADHD and they were perfectly fine. jmo...

The kids/adults with ADHD (Hyper) or (Impulsive) are looking to self-stimulate through activity, ones like my DD (Primarily Inattentive) just zone out all the time. The drugs give them the artificial stimulus to make their brains bio-chemically similar to everybody else so they don't have to seek out external stimulation, or go without. Lots of adults self medicate with caffeine or street drugs. The miniscule amount of meds my DD requires to function effectively wouldn't have much affect on a normal person I would imagine, but withouth them, life was a misery for her.
