I need to get 2 more Wii controllers.

But the real ones are kind of expensive for me, around 44$ each.

Does anyone have experience with the 3rd part remote controllers? Like the ones from Ebay or China, are they any good. This is the cheapest one I found on Ebay, its about 13USD shipped, but what is the quality like? Are there better Ebay controllers, or do all the vendors sell the same quality one? (I dont want to get anything too cheap.) Or one from Deal Extreme?

Can you please let me know, or recommend a good Wii controller? Or should I just spend the money and get the real ones??

Many thanks.

I picked up one (with Wiimotion Plus) from Sears back in December at 50% off. They're bound to go on sale again eventually, especially with the Wii U coming out later this year.

Also, The Source has this Intec model on clearance for $17. There might just be a location somewhere in the GTA that still has it in stock. If it doesn't work, you can probably get away with returning it.

I don't recommend non-OEM remotes from eBay/China or anywhere. They are usually factory rejects that come with defects, that's why they are so cheap.

I would recommended what Jorpho said, buy it locally. So if it doesn't work you can return it.

I doubt it, the Wii U will still require the use of Wii remotes because the Wii U will only support one touch screen controller.

I sell memorex brand ones from as cheap as $10, they are a nice quality and I find better than OEM, retail on them is quite a lot higher, but memorex sold us and other vendors some at below regular costs, so thats why its so cheap.
The ones with motion plus built in $20
bundled with a wireless nunchuck $30 ! see here: http://www.canadamods.ca/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=176

Not sure if this will help, but Staples has been clearing out Flingsmash for the longest time (comes with a Wiimote with built in Wii Motion Plus). They go for $29.99 and most stores will knock off another 25%. So for a little more, you can get a genuine remote.

Not sure if this will help, but Staples has been clearing out Flingsmash for the longest time...meaning you'll probably never be able to find it at this point.

You might have noticed that The Source was clearing out the version of Red Steel 2 with the Motion Plus attachment for $5, but odds are those are all long gone at this point.

No actually, that's the thing, I've seen a LOT of copies of it all over the place, which is why I mention it. At least here in Vancouver, I still see them in stock in a bunch of locations.
