The are a bulk food company that specialize in organize, free range, meats, at bulk prices. They apparently only use the best meats, best cuts of meat, and do not force feed their animals or give them growth hormones or dye the meat to make it a certain colour.

They can be found here...http://www.directfinefoods.ca/\

My wife and I signed a contract which we are thinking of cancelling, as after the sales rep left just now we were left scratching our heads...and there are no reviews online at all....

What exactly have you signed... sounds like a scam.

Bad reviews:

NOOOOOOOO !!! Step away from the contract as fast as you can !!!

We did it 3 years ago ( ????), IMO the meat was poor quality cuts, we didn't
recieve the foods we really wanted. In the long run it was cheaper to shop in store, especially with sales.

National super market chains have GROSS margins just over 25%, on massive volume.

This place doing a tiny fraction of their volume, delivering it, and dont have the highest margin parts of a grocery store like the prepared meals, or private label.

How would it be possible for them to offer a better price....its not.

If you are scratching your head and wondering if you made the right decision you should cancel while you can. If you cancel you can always sign up again once you are sure it is a good decision.

I see this review, but that is the only review I've seen anywhere, you would think someone else would have tried it, somewhere, and written a review

We were somehow swindled into this deal which by the way is no deal !!! I have tried to get out of the contract but have had no success just threats. The quality is horrible and they claim it to be high grade. It is so expensive! I have never in my life spent this kinda money on meats. I now how a freezer full of product that no one wants to eat and a company that just makes me feel like I am the one with the problem.

Never again!!! I hope this message reaches at least one person berfore they make the same mistake we did. I could definatly use $400 a month on something a whole lot better than this!

HUGE RED FLAG!!!!!

If anyone out there has any suggestions on how to deal with this company and get my contract voided please share your feedback....thank you!

I have a rule – I never buy anything from anybody who phones me, comes to my door, or approaches me in public. So far, it has served me quite well.

I started to read up on these scams, seems to happen a lot in the states and apparently all the meats have large amounts of water injected before there frozen, so even if they had give you 1k pounds it could still be much less than.

I was expecting about 1000 lbs.

What you were expecting doesn't matter. What's in the contract you signed?

STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
Do not let them in the door and do not register as a member.
They will talk you into paying thousands for grocery and not have any exact amount on the contract, and if you want to cancel, they nail you with 14% re-stocking fee!!!
